Terms and Conditions
General Terms
By proceeding to book and pay a booking fee, you accept the following terms and conditions.
It is the client's responsibility to read and understand the terms and conditions in order to abide by them.
Deposits
To secure a booking, a deposit will be required prior to the booking date. This amount will then be taken off the overall price of the booking. This applies to trial bookings too.
If a client does not show up or cancels a booking, the paid deposit will be non-refundable.
Cancellations
If you need to postpone your occasion or change the date due to unexpected circumstances, you will be able to move your booking to a new available date free of charge, with at least 6 weeks' notice.
If no dates are available to swap, the full amount of the total booking cost will be lost.
If you cancel just a trial makeup booking, you would lose the deposit.
Any additional date changes will require a new deposit to secure the new booking.
Booking transfers are strictly subject to availability — please inform me early so I can try my best to move your booking to your new chosen date.
If a cancellation was to be made by myself, due to unforeseen severe circumstances beyond my control, a full refund would be given.
I would try my best to rectify the situation, however, it is advised for brides to find wedding insurance prior to their special day to financially cover these situations as Mastered by Millie is not liable for uncontrollable circumstances.
Payments
In order to secure a wedding date booking, a deposit will be required.
Trials are required before a wedding to ensure the bride/bridal party are happy with their makeup.
Trial only bookings:
£30 deposit required.
If you cancel, the money will not be refunded.
Booking just a trial does not secure your wedding date.
Wedding booking deposits:
Must be paid prior to the trial.
Deposit starts at £100 and increases based on party size.
At the trial appointment:
I will ensure you're happy with the makeup by making changes as needed.
If you're happy at the end of the trial, the full wedding payment is taken then.
Deposit will be taken off this price.
If you cancel after the trial, the deposit is lost.
For more information on prices or add-ons, contact me for a quote.
All payments must be made via bank transfer.
Client Responsibilities
To guarantee availability, the client must contact me prior to confirm their chosen date is available.
If you book a date without checking, I will try to accommodate but cannot guarantee availability.
Trial Bookings
Most trials are done during the week due to weddings on weekends.
I may take trials on weekends if I'm free.
Occasionally trials may be moved to prioritise weddings — this will be free of charge.
Clients are encouraged to book weekday trials to avoid rescheduling.
Wedding Booking Requirements
All bride makeup bookings require a trial.
This doesn't apply to the rest of the bridal party but trials are advised for everyone.
Before the wedding/occasion, clients must provide:
• Location, arrival time, schedule, and any travel restrictions.
This ensures I can arrive on time.
A booking form will be requested before the wedding.
On your wedding day, I may have another booking. This is completely normal, and I schedule ample time between bookings to ensure all clients receive their best on the big day.
Assistant Work
For those with larger wedding parties, there is the option for an assistant, all of my assistants have great experience in the bridal industry and all have university degrees specialing in bridal makeup, some assistants travel far, due to this an extra travel charge for certain assistants may be required, in the unforeseen circumstance an assistant cannot attend the occasion, I will try my best to find another assistant, if not I am very capable at taking large wedding parties on my own, so would just have to arrive extra early on your special day to adhere to your time schedule.
You would be refunded the extra amount you paid for towards the assistant in this case.
Social Media
On your special day I may ask to take pictures of your makeup, to promote online or on social media, if there is a photographer I may ask for those images to share online too, I will always double check if this is okay with the bride and bridal party first, it is up to the client to notify me if they are unhappy with this.
